Daily Business Tools You Didn't Know You Needed
Let’s be real… there’s nothing worse than landing the opportunity you’ve been working your butt off for and realizing you’ve got typos in your email, a contract with errors, or worse… you double-booked yourself and missed an important call. 😩
Been there. Done that. One too many times.
And if you’ve been running your business with the same systems since day one, it might be time for an upgrade — one that doesn’t break the bank but makes a massive difference.
Here are a few of my go-to tools that have leveled up my businesses and transformed how my clients work too:
Grammarly
As a recovering perfectionist, I can tell you there’s nothing more painful than spotting a typo after you hit send. Grammarly is a total lifesaver.
Add it as a free Chrome extension, and it will quietly catch all those misspelled words and grammar slip-ups — whether you’re writing an email, drafting a caption, or creating graphics in Canva. It’s simple, effective, and the upgrade options are worth every penny.
Google (Everything!): Google Workspace + Apps
Who runs the world? Google. 😅
When you’re building a business, creating systems that reduce stress is everything. Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet — even Google Business and Analytics — are my accountability partners.
They keep projects organized, clients updated, and my schedule in check. Once you build the habit of using them daily, you’ll wonder how you ever ran your business without them.
Adobe Express and Canva
Content creation doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Canva and Adobe Express make it ridiculously easy to create beautiful, standout graphics, videos, and stories in minutes… no design degree required.
Both platforms offer dope templates, easy customization, and flexibility whether you’re designing for social media, presentations, or marketing materials. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either.
🤝 Dubsado: The Admin Game-Changer for Creatives
I almost quit design before I discovered Dubsado. Admin tasks used to drain my creative energy, but this CRM (Client Relationship Management) platform changed everything.
Dubsado lets you send proposals, contracts, and invoices, collect payments, create custom forms, and automate workflows — all in one place. You can even link Google and QuickBooks, and their built-in scheduler means you can ditch Calendly.
Every client inquiry is automatically organized, which means I spend less time in my inbox and more time doing the work I love.
Final Thoughts
These are the tools that keep me grounded, organized, and focused — and they might just be the missing pieces in your own business puzzle. Whether you’re fine-tuning your communication, staying on top of scheduling, or automating your admin tasks, these platforms will help you show up as the creative boss you are.
Try them out, build your systems, and go be great.
